This role sits within a large-scale enterprise data and analytics function withing the Energy space, focused on building a portfolio of data products that drive smarter decision-making across the organisation.
Your Role as a Data Product Manager:
You will operate at the intersection of product management, delivery, and portfolio oversight -owning the lifecycle of data products from definition through to execution.
This is not a purely strategic role. You’ll be expected to shape the roadmap, work closely with engineering teams, and manage stakeholders across a complex enterprise environment.
You’ll typically oversee 2-3 data initiatives at a time, ranging from AWS-based data platforms to real-time analytics dashboards.
What You’ll Do:
- Define and drive the vision, roadmap, and strategy for data and AI products
- Translate complex business processes (manufacturing, energy, operations) into clear product deliverables
- Identify opportunities for new products, features, and improvements through stakeholder engagement and analysis
- Work closely with engineers, architects, and data teams to deliver scalable solutions on AWS
- Oversee delivery of data platforms, pipelines, dashboards, and AI/GenAI use cases (including chatbot-style applications)
- Define success metrics and ensure products deliver measurable business value
- Manage product backlogs, priorities, and roadmap execution across multiple initiatives
- Handle stakeholder alignment, including challenging conversations and conflicting priorities
- Resolve delivery blockers across teams to ensure consistent progress
- Monitor product performance and iterate based on feedback and usage
