Data Migration Analyst
Your Impact as Data Migration Analyst:
What are you going to do
- Responsible for supporting the end-to-end process of transferring data from legacy to new environments
- Create a data mapping, ensuring accuracy, quality, and alignment with business requirements.
- Develop and execute test plans to validate the accuracy and completeness of migrated data
- Identify and resolve data issues and discrepancies during the migration process, working with other teams.
- Monitor the migration process for performance and efficiency, making adjustments to optimize the data transfer.

Key Responsibilities Include
- In-depth understanding of insurance industry concepts, products, policy administration processes, claims, investments and accounting.
- Perform ETL process to extract data from source systems, transform it according to migration requirements, and load it into the target system.




- Develop and implement data cleansing, normalization, and transformation rules to ensure data consistency and quality.
- Conduct data quality checks, validation, and error handling to maintain data accuracy before, during, and after migration.
- Work with IT teams, database administrator, and business units to understand data requirements and migration objectives.
- Achieve a seamless migration that minimizes disruption and maximizes data usability in the new system.
- Monitor data performance and provide ongoing support to address any post-migration issues.
- Document each phase of the migration process, including data mappings, transformations, and quality checks.
- Produce and enforce development standards and technical standards.
