SD Worx is a leading European provider of Payroll & HR services with general reach. We are looking for an AI / Azure Foundry Engineer to accelerate our organisation's transition into AI-enabled smart automation. You will use Azure AI Foundry, Python, and advanced AI tooling to design intelligent automation solutions that eliminate repetitive work and improve process efficiency for our internal teams — with special focus on Payroll and Products.
Beyond project delivery, you will help shape the engineering direction, reusable patterns, and technical standards for all AI-driven automation within the Smart Automation team.
AI & Azure Foundry Engineering Leadership
Design and build automation solutions leveraging Azure AI Foundry capabilities, including model orchestration, vector search, secure prompt pipelines, and evaluation tooling
Develop and maintain Python-based AI services integrated with Foundry workflows, AI hubs, models, and datasets
Establish guidelines for prompt design, model governance, evaluation, and safe AI deployment using Azure Foundry frameworks




Lead discussions on AI architecture, responsible AI, and performance optimisation
Automation Delivery (Python, AI, Foundry Integration)
Leverage Azure AI Foundry to build solutions such as:
Integrate AI solutions with enterprise systems through secure APIs, microservices, and Python automation scripts
Build pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, embeddings, and vector search
Partner closely with Payroll and Product SMEs to assess processes and identify AI automation opportunities
Ensure solutions follow engineering best practices: version control, testing, observability, monitoring, and secure development
Continuously scan emerging Azure Foundry features and AI capabilities and recommend safe adoption paths
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science or a related technical discipline
Software Engineer professional experience at least 6 years
Demonstrable experience delivering AI or ma
