Join our Strategy & Transactions team in the M&A; area, where you will contribute to projects across the full deal lifecycle from a strategic and operational perspective. You will work with clients on market analysis, target identification, commercial and operational due diligence, and post-merger integration (PMI), helping them make informed investment decisions and maximize value creation.

This role is focused on strategic thinking and business problem-solving rather than financial modeling, valuation, or legal due diligence activities.

The role is based in Madrid in a hybrid working model, combining remote work with time in the office where you will collaborate closely with your team.





It is mandatory to reside in Spain and have a valid work permit in Spain.
Functions:
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative market analysis, including competitive benchmarking and identification of M&A; targets using Excel and market intelligence tools such as Capital IQ, FactSet, PitchBook, MergerMarket or similar.
- Perform commercial and operational due diligence, assessing business models, revenue drivers, competitive positioning, cost structures, and operational risks.
- Build structured business cases and prepare executive presentations (PowerPoint and Excel) for clients, investment committees, and senior stakeholders.
- Support post-merger integration (PMI) projects, including synergy identification, tracking, and implementation planning.
- Develop strategic recommendations to support investment decisions, growth initiatives, and value creation programs.
