Role Description
This is a full-time Senior Accountant role based in Madrid with a hybrid work arrangement, combining office presence with some work-from-home flexibility. The Senior Accountant will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable,
bank reconciliations, and month-end and year-end closing activities. Responsibilities include preparing accurate financial statements and management reports, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and monitoring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. The role will collaborate closely with local and international finance teams, external auditors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely, reliable financial information and contribute to process improvements. The Senior Accountant will also assist with tax filings, statutory reporting, and financial analysis to support business decision-making in a fast-paced, international technology environment.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in core accounting and finance disciplines, including general ledger accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close.
