About the role

We’re looking for a
Senior AI Engineer with excellent software engineering fundamentals
to build reliable, production-grade AI products for complex, document-heavy workflows.

This is a hands-on role for someone who has taken LLM applications beyond prototypes and into production. You’ll work across applied AI, backend engineering, data, evaluation and infrastructure, with significant ownership from architecture through to deployment and continuous improvement.

We care about new technology, but we care more about building products that are accurate, secure, useful and trusted.

What you’ll do
- Build and operate production applications using LLMs and related AI technologies.
- Develop document ingestion, extraction, retrieval and question-answering systems.
- Build and improve RAG, semantic search, reranking, tool use and agentic workflows.
- Create evaluation systems covering retrieval quality, factuality and end-to-end performance.




- Design for citations, traceability, auditability and appropriate human oversight.
- Build the APIs, data pipelines and infrastructure needed to run AI products reliably at scale.
- Monitor quality, latency, cost and reliability, and address hallucinations and regressions.
- Work closely with product, regulatory and commercial teams to solve real customer problems.

What we’re looking for
- Five or more years of professional engineering experience.
- Strong computer science and software engineering fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience building and deploying production LLM applications.
- Experience with RAG, embeddings, vector search, reranking, structured extraction, evaluation and monitoring.
- Evidence of taking products from initial concept to reliable production use.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.
