We are currently looking for a Tax Specialist.
Mission
Ensure timely and accurate compliance with the tax obligations of the various ENGIE companies in Spain, under the direct supervision of the Head of Tax/Tax Manger. Prepare any required tax returns and submit them to the corresponding Tax Authorities. Draft responses to tax authority requests. Manage notifications from the Tax Authorities and provide support to other company areas on tax-related matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the payment of all taxes applicable to the company and prepare the corresponding tax returns at the state level (VAT, personal income tax withholdings, Corporate Income Tax, Tax on the Value of Electricity Production, Excise Duties, etc.), regional level (wastewater discharge taxes, emissions, wind levies, etc.) and local level (public domain occupation fees, Property Tax, Economic Activities Tax, Construction/Installation/Works Tax, etc.). Provide support in preparing transfer pricing documentation and reviewing/monitoring intercompany transactions subject to documentation.
- Manage any procedures related to registering the company for tax purposes before the Tax Authorities.
- Handle requests received from the Tax Authorities.
