Private head chef wanted immediately in Bendinat, Mallorca, for a Saudi family.
Candidates should be prepared to start immediately.
Between 20 and 24 (adults and kids) guests for lunch and dinner. Breakfast is handled by the service staff.
The kitchen has a team of four chefs, including the head chef.
This is a 7-day-a-week operation, so it will be up to the head chef to devise a roster so that each chef can take time off the busy schedule.
Some lunches and dinners will be eaten out by the guests.
Chefs also have to cook lunch and dinner for between 10 and 15 house staff.
The guests eat very simple food, not fancy at all. But it must be high quality and prepared well using fresh ingredients by a chef who knows what they are doing. They are not looking for Michelin standards.
The principal likes market-driven menus and expects the chef to go to local markets to buy produce, seafood, and other ingredients.
Menus should focus on fresh Mediterranean dishes,



healthy eating, and lots of seafood. No pork.
Guests also like to have sushi once a week or on request, and Sunday is usually paella day.
Meal times are set for adults: lunch at 13.30 and dinner at 20.30. Kids meal times are lunch at 12.30 and dinner at 18.30.
The position is for an immediate start and will go through until October/November.
A car is available for the chef.
This is a live-in position.
This will be a demanding position, so only candidates with the stamina to meet the demands should apply.
The chef should be highly organised and able to direct and instruct a team.
A day rate of up to €500 is offered.
Only candidates with an EU passport or the right to work in the EU should apply.
Preference is given to candidates who are located in Mallorca.
