Role Description
The Coordinator of Volunteers at Secretaría de Producción y Empleo is a part-time remote role responsible for organizing, guiding, and supporting volunteer activities across various programs and initiatives. This role includes planning volunteer schedules, matching volunteers to appropriate tasks, and ensuring clear instructions and resources are provided. The coordinator will lead virtual orientation and training sessions, maintain updated records of volunteer participation, and respond to volunteer inquiries in a timely and respectful manner. Day-to-day responsibilities also include collaborating with internal teams to identify volunteer needs, monitoring the impact of volunteer projects, and preparing brief reports on program outcomes. The coordinator will foster an inclusive and positive volunteer environment, encouraging ongoing engagement and recognizing contributions.

Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in Volunteer Management and Volunteer Training,



with the ability to coordinate diverse groups and provide clear guidance.
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills to build trust, resolve concerns, and maintain effective relationships with volunteers and staff.
- Knowledge of Community Outreach practices, including engaging community partners and promoting volunteer opportunities through various channels.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and handle multiple tasks with attention to detail.
- Proficiency with common digital tools (email, spreadsheets, video conferencing) and basic data tracking or reporting.
- Prior experience in nonprofit, public sector, or community-based programs is an advantage.
- Commitment to equity, inclusion, and non-discriminatory practices in all aspects of volunteer coordination.
