• Take ownership of the CMDB framework, including governance models, standards, and policies, ensuring configuration data remains accurate, complete, and ready for audit across all systems and services.
• Manage and coordinate the integration of the CMDB with ITSM platforms, monitoring and discovery tools, asset management systems, and automation solutions (such as ServiceNow), ensuring effective data discovery and reconciliation processes.
• Enable incident, change, problem, and service management activities by providing dependable configuration data, supporting root cause analysis, impact evaluation, and faster resolution times.
• Lead continuous improvements to CMDB processes, data integrity, and reporting capabilities by identifying and implementing enhancements in tools, workflows, and validation controls.
• Ensure thorough tracking of configuration activities, working closely with technical, service, and business teams to promote accurate initial data input, regular updates, and high-quality technical documentation.




• Guarantee that CMDB practices align with operational resilience standards and regulatory frameworks (e.g., DORA, ISO 27001/20000, FCA, PRA), maintaining strong controls and audit evidence.
