Ultra UX is a start-up which has developed a B2B2C mobile application called Beat Best which tells amateur and professional sportspeople alike exactly what they need to eat and drink before, during and after specific workouts and races to optimise their performance. The app is currently focused on the 3 triathlon sports of running, cycling and swimming, though this scope can be expanded at a later date. This offering is currently unique in the marketplace.

The app is currently at MVP stage and undergoing significant updates and improvements, incorporating AI, in preparation for a soft re-launch at the end of this year. The algorithm behind the app has been developed with a leading sports nutritionist, who works with elite sportspeople, as well as amateurs. The team is currently composed of a group of talented individuals, mostly well-known to the existing co-founders, working part-time on the project. The team needs to be expanded.





This is a rapidly scalable business with clear, high-value investment exit paths.

Role

We are seeking a CEO for the start-up who will:
- Refine the company's strategy and business plan
- Expand, coalesce and guide the team and company, working in a cooperative way with all involved
- Build a non-hierarchical, positive and productive team culture
- Take the app to the next level of development, always making sure the starting point for any development is sportspeople's needs
- Seek financing through grants and private investment
- Communicate progress regularly to shareholders and other stakeholders
- Manage the administrative side of the business in liaison with the accountants, notary, etc.

Successful candidate's profile:
- Extreme tenacity. Running a startup is not easy
- Passionate about sport; preferably someone who practices an endurance sport
- Experience with managing or developing mob
