Summary – Basic Function Of The Role
The basic function of an Automation Technician is to support the installation,



maintenance, and optimization of automated systems and machinery used in industrial or manufacturing environments. This role ensures that equipment operates efficiently and reliably by performing tasks such as programming control systems, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, conducting routine inspections, and collaborating with engineering and production teams to implement improvements. The technician plays a critical role in minimizing downtime, enhancing productivity, and maintaining safety and quality standards across automated operations.
