The firm combines international market research, proprietary deal sourcing, transaction support, and an expanding technology infrastructure.

Caprae’s services divisions have completed approximately $50 million in transaction value year to date, with transaction volume expected to surpass $150 million across Q1 and Q2 of 2026. We are looking for ambitious individuals who want to experience private equity and M&A; beyond the traditional classroom environment.

Internship Overview

The Caprae Buyside Internship is an intensive, hands-on training program designed for students who want to become effective dealmakers.





Rather than spending the internship focused only on passive research or financial modeling, interns develop M&A; skills through direct conversations with business owners, real negotiation dynamics, and exposure to live transaction processes.

Outbound calling serves as the foundation of the program. Interns learn how to communicate professionally with founders, uncover seller motivations, navigate objections, and gather information that may influence a potential transaction.

High-performing interns may begin supporting live deals within their first four weeks, gaining exposure to valuation discussions, transaction structures, buyer requirements, and the progression of an ETA transaction.

The program emphasizes the human side of M&A; because successful deals depend on more than numbers—they depend on understanding people, motivations, timing, and trust.
