Company Description
Gofy is a live, hyperlocal map of real deals and free finds in Barcelona, designed for people who live in the city rather than tourists. Independent businesses share authentic offers such as free food, hidden spots, and last-minute deals, all verified in person to avoid fake discounts or ad-heavy experiences. Each “gem” expires within 24 hours, keeping the map fresh and focused on what is actually happening in local neighborhoods. The team is currently validating the concept in Barcelona with plans to expand city by city across Spain and Southern Europe. Gofy is a bootstrapped, founder-led company built lean and closely connected to the communities it serves.

Role Description
As a Promotor/a Comercial in Barcelona, you will help grow Gofy’s presence by connecting with local independent businesses and introducing them to the platform. On a typical day, you will visit neighborhoods, identify potential partner venues, present Gofy’s value proposition, and support them in publishing their real deals and free finds.



You will maintain ongoing relationships with business owners, gather feedback from the ground, and share insights with the team to improve the product and local experience. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Barcelona, combining in-person neighborhood work with some work-from-home activities such as follow-ups, reporting, and planning. You will collaborate closely with the founders and broader team to help scale Gofy one neighborhood at a time.

Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust-based relationships with local independent business owners.
- Experience in commercial promotion, sales, field marketing, or community outreach, ideally in a B2C or local retail environment.
- Comfort working on the street and in venues across Barcelona, with solid knowledge of the city’s neighborhoods and local culture.
- Organizational and time-management skills to plan routes, manage follow-ups
