About the Role

Accellacare, part of ICON plc, is seeking a Patient Recruitment Associate I to support patient enrolment activities for upcoming clinical research studies.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to gain experience within the clinical research industry. Full training will be provided, making this an idóneo entry-level position for individuals interested in healthcare, life sciences, clinical trials, or patient engagement.

The successful candidate will be responsible for screening and engaging potential study participants, managing patient information, scheduling appointments, and supporting recruitment targets across a range of clinical trials.

Key Responsibilities
- Promote the mission of ICON and Accellacare by helping individuals access clinical research opportunities.




- Conduct telephone-based screening of potential study participants against protocol-specific inclusion and exclusion criteria.
- Accurately enter, review, update, and maintain patient information within clinical trial management systems.
- Schedule suitable participants into site appointments and maintain accurate booking records.
- Develop a thorough understanding of study protocols and recruitment requirements.
- Identify appropriate study opportunities for interested participants based on eligibility criteria.
- Build positive relationships with volunteers and ensure an excellent participant experience throughout the recruitment journey.
- Support recruitment and enrolment targets through proactive participant engagement and follow-up.
