Work Environment
As part of the start‑up of an
Air Separation Unit (ASU)
located in Huelva, Spain, we are looking for a
DCS Emerson Expert
capable of working autonomously on commissioning and optimization activities for the control system.
Experience on an
ASU (Air Separation Unit)
or industrial gas facility unit is a strong advantage.
- On‑site assignment.
- Plant currently in start‑up phase.
- Immediate mobilization preferred.
- Mission expected to run until mid‑October 2026.
- Duration may vary depending on mobilization date and start‑up progress.
Missions
Integrated into the on‑site teams, you will be responsible for:
- Taking full ownership of the Emerson DCS of the installation.
- Analyzing and understanding the existing configuration.
- Identifying and resolving issues encountered during start‑up phase.
- Implementing required modifications to the DCS program and configuration.
- Reading and interpreting functional analyses and Cause & Effect matrices.
- Reviewing electrical and instrumentation (E&I;) diagrams.
- Participating in functional tests and commissioning operations.
- Supporting field teams in troubleshooting control‑system‑related issues.
- Contributing to updates of drawings and preparation of as-built documentation. when modifications are made.
Skills
Profile :
- Proven hands-on experience with Emerson DCS systems is essential, particularly in programming, modification, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
- Strong expertise in Emerson DCS environments.
- Ability to directly modify configuration and implement changes.
- Solid understanding of functional analyses and Cause & Effect matrices.
- Proficiency in reading E&I; diagrams.
- Experience in commissioning, start‑up, or industrial plant commissioning.
- Ability to work autonomously in an international environment.
