We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer - AI Product development to join
our Cortellis CMC team in Barcelona and help build the next generation of
AI-powered solutions for the pharmaceutical industry.

In this role, you will design, develop, and operate scalable backend services,
data pipelines, and AI-driven capabilities that power regulatory intelligence
products used by integral life sciences organizations. You will work hands-on with
modern AI technologies, distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, and
large-scale data platforms.

You will take technical ownership of critical components, drive architectural
decisions, and collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and product teams
across multiple locations to deliver high-impact solutions.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

* Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering or Related field.

* Experience Building and delivering production-grade software, with experience
in deploying AI-powered product capabilities





* 5+ years of professional software engineering experience working on backend
systems using TypeScript, Node.js (Nest.js)

* 5+ years designing and maintaining scalable backend services and RESTful
APIs.

* 5+ years working with microservices and distributed architecture.

* Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and search
technologies like Elasticsearch.

* Hands-on experience working in cloud environments (AWS preferred).
