GIANT (Grifols Innovation and New Technologies) is Grifols’ external innovation team,
dedicated to identifying, evaluating, and advancing high-value external opportunities that strengthen the company’s R&D; pipeline and support long-term growth. As part of the Scientific Innovation Office (SIO), GIANT brings together senior scientific, medical, and operational expertise to source and assess external R&D; opportunities, monitor emerging technologies and competitive trends, and actively manage selected collaborations, partnerships, and investments. Organized around Grifols’ priority therapeutic areas, GIANT helps diversify the pipeline beyond plasma while ensuring strong strategic alignment with the company’s scientific and business priorities.The Innovation Senior Manager coordinates all GIANT team activities, ensuring effective execution across key domains:
