What you will do

Manage multiple engineering teams directly, with other managers and Staff Engineers reporting to you and be accountable for the outcomes achieved by your teams.
Set direction, evaluate designs, grow senior talent, and challenge decisions where it matters most.
Work directly with Management, senior technical experts, and Product Managers to simplify complexity and deliver prioritized, incremental product outcomes.
Set guidelines for all developers in the department by aligning with peers,



the industry, and tech leads, while challenging and improving the process.
Identify growth opportunities, empowering team members to take ownership and coaching them to success.
Proactively identify and mitigate technical, operational, and organizational risks while balancing competing priorities.
Requirements

8+ years of experience in software development, including 2+ years of experience managing other managers.
Strong software engineering background with experience in distributed systems and data intensive platforms.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline
Strong coaching and mentoring mindset with a track record of developing senior engineers and engineering leaders.
Passion for customer experience, operational excellence, and building systems that scale without unnecessary complexity.
