Job Description

The Data and AI Solutions Group Lead is responsible for leading and developing one or more globally distributed teams of Data and AI professionals focused on delivering innovative solutions that create business value across UL Solutions.

This is a remote leadership opportunity that can be based in Ireland, UK, Spain, Netherlands or Poland.

The role oversees team members across multiple geographic regions and time zones, including the Americas and Europe.

As a people-first leader, you will be accountable for building high-performing teams, developing talent, fostering a culture of trust and accountability, and enabling teams to operate with a high degree of autonomy. You will partner closely with Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into practical delivery outcomes while ensuring teams continue to grow in capability, maturity, and impact.

The idóneo candidate combines strong leadership experience with a solid understanding of Data, AI, and software delivery practices, and has a proven ability to develop people,



align stakeholders, and drive sustainable team performance.

Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Talent Development

Lead, coach, and develop a diverse team of AI specialists, data professionals, engineers, and scientists.
Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and high-trust culture focused on engagement, accountability, and continuous learning.
Support team members through ongoing coaching, performance management, career development planning, and regular feedback.
Create an environment where teams are empowered to make decisions, solve problems independently, and deliver results with minimal day-to-day intervention.
Identify succession planning and growth opportunities for team members while building long-term organizational capability.
Recruit, onboard, and develop talent aligned with both immediate business needs and long-term strategic objectives.
