As the head of SAIC Motor's ESG strategy for its European operations, you will be responsible for building and continuously optimizing the ESG governance system for the European region from scratch. Against the backdrop of profound changes to the EU's ESG regulatory framework, this role requires ensuring that SAIC Motor's European operations (including overseas marketing and manufacturing business expansion) fully comply with the regulatory requirements of the countries in the target markets, while integrating ESG into the business strategy, fostering a responsible corporate brand image, and translating compliance constraints into business competitiveness and brand equity.

Reporting Relationship: This position reports to the Head of Europe Region and the Head of ESG at China headquarters.

Job Responsibilities:
Led the formulation of the medium- and long-term ESG strategic plan and annual work plan for the European region, and established the XFN collaboration mechanism and ESG risk control process.



Built and continuously optimized the Localization ESG governance system from scratch to ensure that the governance structure, decision-making process, risk identification and emergency response mechanism cover all business scenarios.
Systematically track and study the core EU ESG regulatory framework and ensure business compliance with it, with key coverage of: CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive), ESRS (European Sustainability Reporting Standards), CBAM (Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism), EU Taxonomy, the new EU Battery Regulation (including requirements for the Battery Passport), and CSDDD (Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive); assess the potential impact of policy trends on the Group's European operations, and provide professional compliance support and response strategy recommendations for business decision-making.
