WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

At Rheinmetall Expal Munitions , we are looking for a Product Quality Specialist to ensure that our products meet the required quality standards throughout their lifecycle, from the bid phase to final delivery. You will act as the main point of contact for product quality topics, leading quality assurance activities, supporting risk analysis, and working closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to apply quality methodologies and solve complex issues.
What you will do:
- Lead Product Quality Assurance activities (QFD, P/D-FMEA, iCQP, Quality Plan, Requirements Verification).
- Conduct root cause analysis, manage noon-conformities and drive problem-solving actions.
- Support Design & Development teams in risk analysis and validation plans (including prototype tests).
- Provide lessons learned and quality insights from similar products and processes.
- Coordinate the Quality Team within D&D; projects and act as customer/GQAR interface when required.
- Participate in bidding processes, assessing quality risks and preparing required documentation.




- Identify customer quality requirements at order entry and ensure proper transmission to all stakeholders.
- Build and maintain the Quality Dossier and elaborate the project Quality Plan.
- Lead high-impact product quality issues from order launch to customer delivery.
- Approve engineering changes (PCI) from a quality perspective and support P-FMEA activities.
- Collaborate with factories and integral teams in quality assurance and continuous improvement.

Location: On-site position in Madrid, Spain.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical or similar).
- At least 2 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, design or quality assurance.
- Knowledge of quality methodologies and statistics (FMEA, RCA, 8D, control methods).
- Familiarity with defence quality standards (ISO 9001, AQAP 2110).
- Experience working with PLM, Oracle
