About Your Role

Scope has an exciting and unique opportunity for a Speech Pathologist to work within our Communication and Inclusion Resource Centre. The Communication and Inclusion Resource Centre (CIRC) is a nationally recognised leader in capacity building for people with communication disability and/or low literacy, operating for 20+ years. We enrich lives by creating supportive, connected and inclusive communities, where everyone has a voice and is heard. CIRC employs a diverse, multidisciplinary team including people with disability, speech pathologists, access consultants, educators,



and project managers.

Your Key Focus
- Plan, deliver and evaluate services to clients and customers, which build on individual strengths, needs and priorities
- Developing materials and information on AAC, Accessible Information and Communication Access on a variety of platforms if required
- Provide AAC advice, information and consultancy to a range of stakeholders
- Fulfil administrative requirements such as data collection and record keeping
- Representing Scope at forums, seminars and conferences

What We Look For
- At least four years clinical experience with children or adults in a range of models of service provision, particularly with people with complex communication needs.
- Demonstrated experience in the provision of therapy within the disability, human services or community sector
- Demonstrated knowledge of comprehensive AAC systems and multi-modal communication.
