Role Overview
The EMEA Regional HR Director will serve as an integral member of the HR and operations leadership teams, acting as a trusted advisor and coach.
The critical aspects of this role are to ensure the appropriate skill and volume of talent is attracted to the organization, retained and engaged so our employees are able to perform at the highest levels possible. Facilitating compliant and optimized HR operational support, promoting a strong workplace culture consistent with ALS core values, providing strategic direction in concert with the overall ALS workforce and business strategy and promoting development and capability within the HR function are also dynamics of this role.
This is a senior, highly visible role with regular exposure to executive leadership, the People Committee and the Board of Directors. The successful candidate will be a trusted advisor on complex and sensitive people matters facing the Group, and will translate evolving regulatory expectations into clear, pragmatic frameworks that enable the business.

Workforce in scope: c. 9,000 employees
Key internal partners: CPO, HRLT and key Business GMs
Key external partners: External counsel, works councils and unions, regulators, auditors, M&A; advisors
Governance forums: Board of Directors, People Committee, Executive Leadership Team, HR Leadership team
Key Responsibilities
The position will be responsible for:
Lead the implementation of the HR strategy and oversee the HR function across the EMEA region;
Design and implement the regional HR operating model to support business growth, operational efficiency and organizational effectiveness;
Support the adoption of Workday and integration with Payroll systems, helping drive HR process standardization and digital transformation initiatives;
Strengthen the talent pipeline and succession planning for critical positions across the region;
