As ABB Robotics embarks on its journey as a standalone general leader in automation, we are looking for experienced Project Managers to lead end-to-end payroll system implementation projects across multiple countries as well as local country discovery efforts for Payroll, Employee Life Cycle as well as Time and Attendance. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering payroll transformation initiatives while ensuring compliance, stakeholder alignment, and successful transition to operations. The role requires strong project management expertise, payroll process knowledge, vendor coordination experience, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. This role will functionally report to Global Payroll Transformation Lead who will act as an overarching Program Manager. Preferred candidates are from Europe, primarily Poland or Spain.




Key Responsibilities
- Lead payroll implementation projects from initiation through go-live and stabilization
- Lead local country discovery to support team in understanding current AS IS environment and defining TO BE processes
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, and deliverables
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, risk logs, and status reports
- Coordinate with HR, Finance, IT, Payroll vendors, and business stakeholders
- Manage implementation of payroll systems, coordinate with integrations and data migration leads
- Ensure payroll processes comply with local labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies
- Facilitate workshops to gather business requirements and document functional specifications
- Oversee testing activities including SIT, UAT, parallel payroll runs, and defect resolution
- Monitor project budgets, resources, and timelines to ensure success
