Overview

A lovely, welcoming and respectful family based in Madrid, Spain, seeks a fantastic family assistant or mother's help. The likely schedule will be Monday through Friday, 11.00am-8.00pm (with time for a break during the day), although it would be appreciated if candidates could be adaptable around occasional weekend/evening help. Ideally the candidate will start as soon as possible, however the right fit is very important and Mum would rather not rush into anything.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities will be varied - the role is about supporting the family wherever necessary (within reason) and ideally candidates would be open to most or all of the following:
- Occasional childcare for two children aged 4-years and 6-years, stepping in when the parents are busy (although they will do the majority of the care)
- Some tutoring and/or homework support once the children are in school
- Occasional housekeeping if back-up support is needed (for example, if someone is off sick or hasn't managed to complete all duties)
- Training other household staff,



ensuring standards are maintained and tasks are completed
- Research to support Mum with maintaining household standards and preferences (for example, of product ingredients, for durability and eco-credentials etc)
- Occasional pet care
- Some family cooking if possible, or at least helping the parents with meal preparation
- Maintaining household aesthetics, ensuring high standards are upheld and the home is consistently welcoming, organised and running smoothly
- Minor household upkeep such as replacing lightbulbs, coordinating with vendors and contractors when needed, keeping an eye on mail, on inventory and re-stocking with approved supplies
- Online ordering and some errands

Requirements

The household is calm, welcoming, balanced and harmonious. This could be a role for one person, or could be for a couple, as long as one half of the couple is happy to take on the exterior of the property as well. The succ
