Job Description Summary
We are seeking a Lead Professional in Mechanical Engineering to serve as a key technical contributor within the MH Fabrications team. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of mechanical components for wind turbines, spanning the entire product life cycle from concept creation to field support. You will apply your technical expertise to develop innovative designs, ensure compliance with pertinent standards, and deliver safe, reliable, and high-quality solutions.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Contribution: Contribute to designing fabricated wind turbine components and resolving mechanically complex engineering challenges.
- Project Execution: Support New Product Introduction (NPI) programs, technology integration, and field issue resolution with a primary focus on safety, quality, and reliability.
- Product Safety and EHS: Contribute to the identification and mitigation of risks for safety-critical components, ensuring all designs meet tolerable risk levels.



Support the resolution of SAFER cases by working cross-functionally to assist in the completion of action items.
- Systems Thinking & Integration: Apply a "Systems Thinking" mindset to help integrate components into the overall turbine design. Assess tradeoffs and communicate the implications of component changes on the wider machine.
- Compliance & Standards: Apply all relevant design practices, industry regulations, and standards to the design of mechanical components. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of engineering requirements affecting wind turbine systems.
- Tool & Process Improvement: Contribute to continuous improvement of design practices and engineering tools. Apply and support standardized analysis and calculation methodologies to ensure a rigorous engineering approach across projects.
