Our client, a reputable international law firm, is looking for a Bilingual Paralegal to join their team in Madrid to work on high‐value international cases. Document review – working alongside lawyers to conduct first level reviews prior to second level review by the associate team.
Filings – assisting with written work of associates during submission phases, producing documentation with consistent house style, cite‐checking, proofreading and managing supporting documentation.
Hearings – logistical planning of hearings, negotiating contracts with transcribers, interpreters and hearing venues, producing opening/closing PowerPoint presentations, and preparing cross‐examination bundles.
Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish to proofread and draft legal documentation in both languages.
1–3 years experience as a paralegal or legal assistant at a leading international dispute resolution practice,



handling high‐value, complex disputes, commercial litigation, international arbitrations or PIL.
Law degree or equivalent legal studies.
Experience with Spanish or UK legislation, knowledge of technology (Microsoft365, Adobe Word, Excel, VC Software), and familiarity with Westlaw, PLC or specific arbitration databases.
Strong research and document production skills, ability to work with minimal supervision, and excellent attention to detail.
Office/WFH: 3 days in office, 2 days WFH.
Contract: Temporary (6 months), extension possible but not guaranteed.
Versátil hours and travel due to the international focus of the role.
