Our client is seeking a dedicated Senior QA Automation Engineer to oversee the quality assurance for a business-critical healthcare scheduling platform. This application is designed to transition hospital emergency departments from static staff planning to a versátil, dedicated scheduling system. Operating within a high-stakes healthcare environment, the platform must support rapid schedule changes, maintain well-structured data, and provide reliable reporting. Test Strategy & Design: Define the overall test strategy for critical workflows and maintain all testing procedures and documentation
Automation Development: Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end (E2E) automated tests using Playwright and TypeScript
Build and sustain risk-based regression tests, prioritizing an automation-first approach supplemented by targeted manual checks
Manual & Exploratory Testing: Perform exploratory and high-risk manual testing to identify edge cases within the web platform
Engineering Collaboration:
Partner with developers to ensure sufficient unit and integration test coverage and provide feedback in code reviews regarding testability and quality risks
Validate authentication, navigation, and complex permission sets to ensure configuration changes meet rigorous healthcare standards
Support the phased rollout of testing frameworks as the product evolves from initial stages to advanced maturity

Professional Longevity: 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with a primary focus on test automation
Automation Stack: Proven experience with Playwright and TypeScript (or highly similar automation frameworks)
Testing Breadth: Practical experience with E2E/UI test automation combined with a willingness to perform manual testing on web platforms
Strong knowledge of testing best practices, methodologies, and a "working backwards" approach to risk-based testing
