Amaris Consulting is seeking a MES Application Support Engineer (Pharma) to join an international team in a integral group with €800M turnover and 1,000+ clients worldwide. The role involves planning project kickoffs and following up on projects while ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations of MES applications in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.
Required Qualifications
Solid experience working with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), ideally in pharma; experience with Körber PAS‑X is a strong plus
Good knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
Good knowledge of Oracle and PostgreSQL databases
Understanding of GxP standards and compliance in a regulated environment
Good knowledge of IT infrastructure technologies, ideally including Citrix
Understanding of Operational Technology (OT) environments and their role in pharmaceutical manufacturing (data acquisition and control systems)
Strong team player, solution‑oriented, eager to learn, and comfortable in an international & intercultural environment
English: Advanced / Fluent
Desired Qualifications / Nice to Have




~ Location: Based in Barcelona (or willing to relocate)
~3–5 years of professional experience in production processes with a focus on IT systems or engineering
~ Knowledge or first experience with MES platforms (especially Körber PAS‑X 3.2 or newer)
~ Knowledge of Docker and/or RedHat OpenShift / Kubernetes
~ Hands‑on experience with Docker‑based deployments
~ Experience with Oracle database administration or integration in manufacturing IT systems
~ Experience working with Citrix environments

Execute service requests from IT functions, business users, and key stakeholders
