The Objectives of Procurement are to ensure stable financial performance and ongoing supply continuity across diverse supply chains.
Procurement plays a key role within Symrise, interacting with all parts of the business to facilitate supplier-led innovation, cost savings, supply stability, and sustainability initiatives.
This position is located in Parets del Vallés (industrial area).
Define regional strategic sourcing strategies across specified flavor categories/sub-categories,



aligned with tasks assigned to Global and Regional Procurement Managers/Buyers.
Manage, supervise, and coach the Procurement / Inbound Planning team.
Negotiate commercial and supply agreements for raw materials and identify regional/local supply agreements where appropriate.
Coordinate volume forecasts, market analysis, and trend information following global best practices and category segmentation.
Source and approve new external/3rd-party sources and set up subsequent SAP PIR.
Develop relationships with key suppliers to manage performance, quality, productivity, and service levels.
In addition to the team lead responsibilities, oversee strategic procurement negotiations and approximately 25% of inbound planning tasks.
Degree in Procurement/Purchasing, Food Science, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in strategic procurement.
Deep understanding of procurement processes, methods, and tools.
