Backend Engineer - Fixed Term Contract / Infrastructure and Automation
We’re looking for a number of Backend Engineers to help build robust services and automation pipelines that support next generation AI and quantum‑inspired technologies. The team enables model compression that reduces LLM size by up to 95 % and cuts inference costs by up to 80 %, allowing integral organisations to deploy AI at scale with far greater efficiency.
This is a fixed‑term contract, based in Zaragoza, working on a hybrid basis through mid‑2026 and includes a competitive package with signing and retention bonuses (plus relocation assistance if needed).
Develop and maintain backend services in Python or Go
Work with Docker and cloud environments to deploy scalable systems
Design relational schemas and manage database integrations
Automate workflows across data, CI/CD, and machine‑learning systems




Collaborate with product and design teams to define backend contracts for intuitive user experiences
Contribute to observability, testing, and continuous delivery practices
Two to five years backend development experience
Experience with Docker and familiarity with Kubernetes
Proficiency with PostgreSQL or MySQL and schema design
Cloud experience with AWS or similar environments
