Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced DevOps and Infrastructure Engineer to help maintain, improve, and scale our development processes, CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and third-party integrations. This role is crucial in ensuring the availability and resilience of our infrastructure, which spans across continents and supports mission‑critical blockchain services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Learn, understand, and maintain the company’s existing infrastructure, deployments, and internal tools.
- Ensure top availability of all running infrastructure; proactively identify and address weak points.
- Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines and development integrations with third‑party services.
- Collaborate with Development and QA teams to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
- Work closely with tech leads and the CTO to enhance monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
- Participate in rotating weekend monitoring duties to ensure quick responses to infrastructure alerts.
- (Optional) Contribute to product development in Node.js and/or Rust if combining with a developer position.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in backend development, infrastructure administration, DevOps, or system administration.
- Strong production experience with CI/CD solutions.
- Hands‑on experience with cloud providers such as AWS, OVH, Heroku, and Google Cloud.
- Deep understanding of web infrastructure: hosting, DNS, CDN, load balancing, and proxying.
- Advanced Unix/Linux administration and scripting (bash).
- Familiarity with containerization and infrastructure as code tools: Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Vagrant, etc.
- Strong understanding of network fundamentals and eventual consistency models.
- Experience in database management, performance monitoring, and debugging.
- Proficiency with Git and GitHub (or similar platforms).
