We're on the lookout for our next Deputy Operations Manager – and we're open to two possible locations. Based in either Rome (Italy Ops) or Valencia (West EU Ops), the Deputy Operations Manager will support day-to-day operational performance in their region – working closely with our local leaders, office teams, and third-party suppliers to ensure every trip runs safely, smoothly, and in line with Intrepid's values.
You'll help oversee trip operations, drive quality and safety, coach and develop leaders, manage supplier relationships, and assist with compliance and incident response. For the Italy Ops role, fluent Italian and English is required and you'll be needed 2-3 days per week in our Rome office.
For the West Europe Ops role,
fluent Spanish and English is required and you'll be needed 2-3 days per week in our Valencia office.
Strong regional knowledge of Europe, including local culture and travel logistics
Confident using systems (Word, Excel, internal tools) and comfortable with flexible working hours
