TheBiomimetic systems for cell engineering Groupis looking for a scientific business developer to join the READY-GUT project funded by AGAUR Innovadors. The idóneo candidate will have a hybrid technical-business background.
In READY-GUT we develop ready-to-use 3D hydrogel scaffolds for cell culture of intestinal models. The candidate will participate in the product validation and the route-to-market strategy. Definition of the business plan, economic viability and marketing strategy
Research and compile all necessary requirements for GLP certification
Participate in industry conferences, networking events and business meetings
Participate in the mentoring and training programme with the AGAUR Innovadors framework (in Catalan)
Advance degree (MSc or PhD) in biotechnology, bioengineering, biomedical sciences, tissue engineering, or a related field with a postgraduate degree in entrepreneurship and innovation.
Alternatively, a degree in economics, business administration or related field with a strong understanding of biotech R&D; projects, in particular of 3D cell culture, ADME testing,



and gut disease modeling.
Previous experience in technology transfer, business development and product validation.
Knowledge of good laboratory practices (GLP) and standard protocols for in vitro preclinical testing.
Highly self-motivated and proactive, with excellent communication skills for pitching the technology to potential clients and investors.
Good level of spoken and written English and Catalan
Full-time 10 months contract
