Job Summary
Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, operate and maintain electrical power generation and distribution equipment. Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, operate and maintain Aircraft Arresting Systems and associated equipment. You will ensure the safety of each team member and in addition, you are responsible for safeguarding assigned tools, equipment, and other resources efficiently.
Roles And Responsibilities




- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair and operate diesel generator sets from 10kw to 350kw ensuring on-time and accurate completion in accordance with blueprints/drawings and or written instructions.
- Connect diesel generator sets and electrical distribution switchgear to include installation of panel boards, branch circuits, breakers, switches, conduit, and wiring.
- Perform full range of organization-level maintenance; scheduled and unscheduled repairs and maintenance, troubleshooting and diagnostic testing in power generation equipment.
- Perform Aircraft Arresting System (AAS) maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs within strict Air Force standards.
- Perform start/run operational inspections on generator sets and full load/facility load tests, routine operational checks of all electrical switchgear, power cabling, and transformers.
