EXN's customer and vendor data is currently fragmented across multiple ERPs (NetSuite, SAP, Jiwa, Sage), inconsistently structured in HubSpot, and not reliably linked across systems. The Master Data Analyst is the long-term solution. In the meantime, there is significant work to do: defining what the data should look like, documenting what exists,



measuring the gap, and working with IT and the MDM team to prioritise and track resolution.
As Master Data Analyst is implemented there is a need to define how master data is structured, how authoritative sources are determined across systems, and how records are matched and merged to form a trusted golden record.
The Master Data Analyst sits at the intersection of business and IT. They translate what commercial teams need from the data into quality requirements the technical teams can act on - and translate the technical reality of what the data contains back to the business in terms they can use.
