At Mimacom, we are looking for a Backend Tech Lead to join a long-term international project for a general industry leader. This role goes far beyond technical excellence: we're looking for someone who can act as a trusted advisor, challenge decisions when needed, and bring structure, ownership, and leadership to both the customer and the development team.
This is a fully remote position where you'll work closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders while helping shape the evolution of a large-scale cloud-native platform.
What You'll Do
As a Backend Tech Lead, you will be responsible for both technical leadership and delivery excellence. You'll play a key role in ensuring that the team is building the right solutions, in the right way, for the right business outcomes.
Your responsibilities will include:




- Acting as the technical leader for a complex cloud-native platform built on .NET and Azure .
- Proactively driving initiatives, following up on open topics, and ensuring progress even when dependencies move slowly.
- Challenging technical and business decisions when necessary, including product owners, developers, customer stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Identifying risks early and raising concerns before they become delivery or quality issues.
- Building a deep understanding of the customer's business, processes, and challenges.
- Leading architectural discussions and supporting technical decision-making across multiple teams.
- Ensuring high-quality engineering practices and maintainable, scalable solutions.
- Preparing technical documentation, workshops, reviews, and stakeholder meetings in a structured and organized manner.
- Mentoring developers and helping the team grow technically and professionally.
