R&D; Manager (Rubber Business) As a R&D; Manager, you will be responsible for all activities to ensure the success of the product lines and marketing strategies, define a roadmap for product development by identifying opportunities for improving the growth trajectory of product lines and recommending new product development, manage P&L; for product lines and ensuring actions are taken to maintain as much profit as possible with the given product line. Define and execute the mid‑ and long‑term Integral R&D; strategy aligned with corporate and commercial objectives.
Lead and develop the R&D; team (product engineering, materials, laboratory and testing).
Drive new product development and continuous improvement of rubber power transmission belts worldwide.
Research, develop and validate rubber compounds, reinforcements and surface treatments.
Improve product performance (durability, energy efficiency, noise, vibration, thermal and chemical resistance).
Define and oversee product testing, validation and homologation activities.
Manage R&D; budget, priorities and resource allocation.




Collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering, Purchasing and Sales to ensure industrialization and market success.
Work with Quality and Technical Area/ Engineering to resolve product issues and ensure product reliability.
Engineering degree (Industrial, Chemical, Materials or similar).
~5+ years experience in industrial R&D;, preferably in rubber or elastomer products.
~ Proven experience managing technical teams and projects.
~ Strong knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes and testing.
~ Awareness and commitment to Occupational Health & Safety and Environmental principles in an industrial environment.
~ Fluent in Spanish and English.
