About the role
The Cloud FinOps Specialist will support our Cloud Marketplace and Process team by engaging with partners and customers to optimize their cost for Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) Vendors such as Microsoft, AWS & Google. The role involves designing optimal use cases for Virtual Machine allocation, right‑sizing activities, Reserved Instances, Saving Plans and creating customer‑facing dashboards using Power BI.
Responsibilities
- Engage with partners and customers to support their cost optimization activities for IaaS.
- Work on Microsoft Azure, AWS and GCP to manage and optimize virtual machine allocation and right‑sizing activities.
- Create and maintain customer‑facing dashboards using Power BI to provide insights and support decision‑making.
- Collaborate with internal departments, including sales, finance, legal and IT, to ensure appropriate documentation and coordination of new processes.

Basic Skills and Experience
- Experience in IaaS Cost Optimization.




- Working experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS or GCP.
- Solid understanding of e‑commerce and data handling.
- Experience in creating automations with Python and/or Power BI.
- Knowledge and experience in virtual machine allocation.
- Experience in creating customer‑facing dashboards with Power BI.
- Exceptional written and oral communication and presentation skills in English.
- FinOps Practitioner and/or Focus Analyst Certification from FinOps Foundation.

Preferred Skills and Experience
- Knowledge of Azure, AWS or GCP Cost Optimization features.
- Experience in software licensing, support, or account management functions.
- IT channel experience with Pan‑European distributors or software vendors.
- Solid understanding of vendor dynamics within IaaS or SaaS distribution channel.
- Apptio platform usage knowledge.
