Who you are
- 5+ years of product management experience in fintech, payments, or regulated financial services
- Working knowledge of KYC/AML regulatory frameworks — ideally including EU or UK regulations (PSD2, MiCA, or equivalent). You don't need to be a lawyer, but you need to have absorbed compliance deeply enough to act as a credible counterpart to a MLRO or compliance officer
- Proven ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into clear, prioritised product decisions — and to make those decisions land with engineers, designers, and business stakeholders who don't share your regulatory background
- Experience owning or rebuilding onboarding or identity verification flows — with measurable outcomes (completion rate, activation time, drop-off reduction)
- Familiarity with financial infrastructure: payment providers, monitoring vendors, identity solutions. Experience managing a migration or integration at the infrastructure layer is a strong plus
- Strong analytical mindset — you can instrument what doesn't yet exist, define the right metrics,



and use data to drive prioritisation
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills — you can hold the room with compliance, ops, and engineering simultaneously, and translate between them without losing substance
- Entrepreneurial mindset — comfortable making difficult infrastructure and vendor decisions without a large team of experts behind you
