Description
Semiconductor supplier KD provides innovative high-speed optical networking for harsh environments. Making gigabit communications over fiber optics a reality, KD technology supplies multi Gb/s optical links for automotive, industrial, and home networks.
Founded in 2010 in Madrid, Spain, KD offers its cost-effective technology as either ASSP or IP (Intellectual Property) integrated in SoCs (System-on-Chips).
KD has about 80 employees, we are in full expansion due to the development of innovative products in the sector and the creation of a unique factory in Spain.
As a result, we are looking for a Support Engineer.

Tasks & Responsibilities
These are your tasks:
You offer comprehensive information about our products designed for automotiveor industrialapplications and provide integral project and design support, eitherremoteor on-site, for automotive projects.
You create block diagrams, schematics, or any other technical documentation to assure the full understanding of project solutions and conduct product and solution tests at the in-house location (Madrid, Spain) to meet project requirements.
Youwill designevaluation boards using ourdevicesfor clients anddemonstrations.
You take part in trade fairs,externaltrainingscourses and represent the company in training courses in coordination with the marketing team.
You actively check and update the Automotive products and marcom material in the Madrid showroom to ensure successful customer demos.
Offer remotetroubleshooting fortechnicalcustomerissues via phone or email, recording these instances in the relevant applications, and reporting technical issues to Field Application colleagues, R&D;, and sales departments.
Provide new product ideas, or product improvement suggestions to the marketing department.
