JOB SUMMARY:

Supermicro is seeking a Senior Manager, Public Affairs to develop, implement,
and lead media relations and public affairs strategies that further the advocacy
and policy goals of the company—shaping the narrative around reputation
management, state and federal legislation, regulation, and policies that affect
Supermicro’s business and reputation. This position reports directly to the
Senior Director of Government Affairs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:





Under the general direction of the Senior Director of Government Affairs, the
Senior Manager, Public Affairs will:

* Develop, implement, and lead comprehensive media and advocacy strategies for
Supermicro’s reputational and policy priorities with media and critical
stakeholders, in partnership with the Senior Director, Corporate
Communications.
* Serve as a trusted advisor on external narrative, ensuring Supermicro’s
voice, tone, and strategic priorities are communicated with discipline with
government, third-party stakeholders and media.
* Build integrated external affairs campaigns that mobilize media/reporters,
third-party validators, coalition partners, and grasstops advocates in
support of the company’s priorities.
* Monitor state and federal legislation, regulation, and policy developments,
and gather the testimonials, customer stories, and data points needed to
support Supermicro’s response.
