The Customer Master Data Supervisor leads a team of specialists to manage the end-to-end lifecycle of customer records—from initial setup and credit checks to data cleansing and archiving. This role balances day-to-day operational oversight with strategic data governance, ensuring that all data entries comply with global standards, legal tax requirements, and internal audit protocols.
Distribute and supervise the daily tasks of the CDM team to ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for record creation and updates are met.
Performance Management:



Set clear KPIs for team members, provide regular coaching, and conduct annual performance reviews. Establishes, maintain and execute on business controls and processes.
Escalation Point: Act as the first point of contact for complex data issues or disputes between departments (e.g., "Provide leadership to the team, helping in defining yearly priorities and ongoing project related to Customer Data Mgmt
Data Quality & Governance
Monitor data for completeness, accuracy, and uniqueness (preventing duplicate customer profiles).
Standardization: Develop and enforce general naming conventions, address formats, and tax documentation requirements.
Data Cleansing: Lead periodic maintenance projects to keep data accurate (e.g. dormancy, fake, etc...).
SOX/Internal Controls: Ensure all data changes have proper documentation and approval workflows to meet Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) or local compliance standards.
