We're looking for a Senior UX Designer who is genuinely energized by the complexity of operational workflows — someone who can spend time with our ops teams, understand what slows them down, and turn those insights into designs that make hard work feel easier. Conduct regular generative and evaluative research with internal operations users — including contextual inquiry, task analysis, and usability testing
Synthesize qualitative and quantitative signals (support ticket patterns, usage data, direct interviews) into clear problem definitions
Design & Systems
Own end-to-end design for HealthSource features — from early concepts through to polished, spec-ready deliverables
Contribute to and enforce consistency within Datavant's design system, identifying components to standardize across products
Design for efficiency at volume — our ops users process hundreds of requests per day, so every friction point compounds
Balance short-term iterative improvements with longer-term systemic redesign opportunities
