Your Mission As a Quality Engineer, you will be a cornerstone of Bitpanda’s Quality Engineering team, ensuring the resilience, security, and world‑class performance of our financial ecosystem. Design and execute test strategies for complex mobile and web environments. You will oversee end-to-end testing lifecycles,



integrating advanced exploratory testing with rigorous regression and smoke suites.
Utilize expertise in tools like Postman, Android Studio, and Xcode to debug complex architectural issues and validate high-stakes financial integrations.
Beyond just tracking bugs in Jira, you will analyze defect trends to identify systemic weaknesses and work with Engineering Leads to implement long-term preventative measures.
Drive the "Shift‑Left" philosophy by embedding quality benchmarks early in the sprint cycle, ensuring that "Definition of Ready" and "Definition of Done" are strictly upheld across squads.
Experience in high-growth mobile and web environments, ideally within Fintech or highly regulated industries.
Mastery of tools like Postman, JIRA/Xray, Android Studio, and Xcode is essential. You should be comfortable navigating logs, proxying traffic, and inspecting databases.
