Technical Solutions Manager – Inverter Technology
At Canadian Solar, the Technical Solutions Manager – Inverter Technology is part of the e‑STORAGE engineering team responsible for developing and managing utility‑scale battery energy storage solutions worldwide. The role specializes in inverter technologies—both central and string—and their integration within BESS platforms, leading technical due diligence, guiding product development, and ensuring compliance with certification and grid requirements.
Lead technical due diligence of both central and string inverter technologies (3rd‑party OEM and internally developed).
Drive internal and external Independent Engineer (IE) reviews to validate product performance and compliance.
Maintain traceability of inverter specifications, certification status, performance validations, and internal evaluations to support cross‑team collaboration.
Prepare technical content and materials for customer visits, training sessions, webinars, and events.
Provide and validate content for marketing collateral such as datasheets, brochures,



and white papers; support marketing in product launches and performance tracking.
Support ongoing measurement of product success in the field and recommend improvements based on performance and customer feedback.
Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field; a postgraduate degree (M.Minimum 5 years of experience in inverter technology, power electronics, or energy storage product development, with hands‑on exposure to utility‑scale BESS projects and applications.
Strong understanding of inverter technology (both central and string), power electronics, and their integration with battery systems.
Familiarity with control systems and product validation processes.
Understanding of financial product calculations, including cost structure, pricing definition, analysis, and recommendations.
