Join AECOM's B+P Sustainable Design Team and play a leading role in delivering sustainable, resilient, and low-carbon solutions across a diverse portfolio of international projects. Based in Madrid, you will provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary teams, helping clients achieve ambitious sustainability goals while supporting the growth and development of our Sustainable Design practice.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the development and delivery of sustainability, decarbonisation, and net-zero carbon strategies for major building and urban development projects.
- Provide technical leadership in environmental analysis, building performance modelling, embodied carbon, Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), and whole-life carbon studies.




- Guide multidisciplinary teams in integrating sustainability objectives into projects from concept through delivery, championing data-driven, parametric, and computational design approaches.
- Manage sustainability workstreams across multiple projects, overseeing project delivery, quality assurance, budgets, programmes, and client relationships.
- Lead the preparation and review of technical reports, sustainability strategies, certification submissions, and client presentations.
- Contribute to the growth of the Sustainable Design practice through mentoring, innovation, thought leadership, proposals, and business development activities
