Ebury Madrid - Office based
We are looking for a Client Portfolio Manager in our Madrid Office, with proven dealing, trading and account management experience. The successful candidate will help to develop, expand and manage the Institutional client base, taking responsibility for trading account set up, relationship management and deal execution.
What you’ll do as a Client Portfolio Manager
Drive New Business Acquisition: Proactively identify, engage, and onboard new institutional clients through independent research, strategic outreach, and networking. Establish and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients and the fund ecosystem (investment managers, corporate service providers and fund administrators), understanding their investment objectives, risk appetite, and FX requirements.




Manage a portfolio of institutional clients, executing a range of different products, including FX hedging, lending, payments and cash management. Know and understand the competition’s capabilities and gaps to better position Ebury’s Banking solutions.
Strong Financial Services experience in a sales or relationship management role. An established network of contacts is a distinct advantage.
Experience of working in an established FX institution and/or commercial bank, or selling other financial instruments to institutional clients.
Academic background in Business or Finance is a plus.

Proven record of identifying and pursuing new business opportunities (upselling, cross‑selling, new client acquisition).
Skilled negotiator, able to build and leverage relationships at senior levels.
Fluency in Spanish and English is mandatory.
