Definity is adding an experienced Back-End Engineer to help build and enhance scalable backend services for a mission-critical manufacturing platform. This role is idóneo for someone who enjoys designing high-performance systems, working with modern event-driven architectures, and solving complex backend challenges using technologies such as C# or Go , relational databases, and AI-assisted development tools.

Bachelor's degree and professional license (cédula profesional)
5+ years of hands-on experience in backend software development.
~ Strong experience developing backend applications using C# or Go (GoLang).




~ Experience working with MySQL or similar relational database management systems, including database schema design and query optimization.
~ Experience with event streaming technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ .
~ Experience using Microsoft Copilot or similar AI-assisted development tools.
~ Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or similar.
~ Advanced English proficiency with strong communication skills.

Experience with Redis.
Experience working in manufacturing, industrial, or enterprise environments.
Knowledge of scalable backend architectures and distributed systems.
Experience building secure, high-performance APIs and backend services.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services for mission-critical manufacturing systems.
Build reliable APIs and backend components using modern development practices.
Design and optimize relational database schemas while ensuring high performance and reliability.
